How competitions are selected
We collect competitions from a wide range of UK websites and social media sources. Each listing goes through an automated review process designed to keep the feed useful, current and easy to navigate.

Safety Score
Not all competitions are created equal. Some are run by established brands with clear terms. Others are vague, request more personal information than expected, or come from unfamiliar sources.
The Safety Score gives you a quick, at-a-glance view of how trustworthy a competition appears. It considers factors such as:

- • Whether clear terms and conditions exist
- • How much personal information is requested
- • Signals associated with the website and source
A higher Safety Score means more indicators look positive. A lower score means the competition may warrant a closer look.
Appeal Rating
The Appeal Rating helps you judge whether a competition may be a worthwhile use of your time. It considers:
- • Estimated prize value
- • The effort required to enter
- • Entry restrictions
- • Signals that may suggest fewer entrants
- • How broadly appealing the prize is
A higher Appeal Rating suggests the competition may offer a stronger overall balance of prize value, entry effort and likely competition level.
